Byron Boyd was the first PIROS team member recruited by Sebastian Crowe for his Beyond the Grave project. His narcissism may be only surpassed by that of Sebastian himself as he seeks to undercut his benefactor by seeking to take control of the show and exploiting Sebastian's media contacts to gain the attention and appreciation he feels he deserves. Tom Rhodes likes to sray in the background, and, wtih so many conflicting egos involved with PIROS, it would seem to be the safest place to be. Tom joined the team after the show’s second season when their previous documentarian left for undiscolsed reasons. Tom, was, originally, a cameraman for the local news station and a former co-worker of Byron Boyd who saw Beyond the Grave as a way to explore his aspirations of becoming a documentary filmmaker.
